Transcatheter Treatment of Congenital Pulmonary Artery Valve Dysfunction with Sapien 3: The COMPASSION S3 Study
Transcatheter treatment with Sapien 3 in patients with dysfunction of the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) conduit or a surgically implanted pulmonary valve from the COMPASSION S3 trial has been shown to be safe and effective within up to one year of follow-up, as reported by D. Scott Lim of the University of Virginia and colleagues in the March 1 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
