Impact of Age at Onset of ST-Elevation MI on 10-Year Outcomes: EXAMINATION-EXTEND Trial Subanalysis
A subanalysis of the EXAMINATION-EXTEND trial showed that patients >75 years of age at the onset of ST-elevation MI had a higher risk of patient-derived composite endpoints (POCE: all-cause mortality, all MI, all revascularization) at 10 years of follow-up compared with younger patients.
