One-month DAPT in Patients with Chronic Coronary Syndromes and ACS Treated with Bioresorbable Polymeric EES
The risk of ischemic and bleeding events after one month of dual-drug antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) was similar in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) after PCI with a bioresorbable polymer everolimus-eluting stent (BP-EES) in high-risk of bleeding (HBR), according to a study reported by Dr. Carmine Musto, A.O. San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital, Italy and colleagues in the November 15 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
