Unintended Deformation of Stents During Bifurcation PCI: An OCTOBER Trial Substudy
A subanalysis of the OCTOBER trial found that unintended stent deformations (USD) in PCI of bifurcation lesions were associated with cardiac events during follow-up if not corrected, Dr. Lene Nyhus Andreasen and colleagues of Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark, reported in the May 13 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
