Lumen expansion of target lesions after treatment with DCB for de novo coronary artery disease
After treatment of de novo coronary artery lesions with drug-coated balloons (DCBs), early target lesion lumen enlargement (TLE) was observed in more than half of the lesions, most of which were maintained in the distant phase. About half of the lesions that did not show early TLE, had TLE in the distant phase, as reported by Dr. Katsumi Ueno of Matsunami General Hospital and colleagues in the March issue of Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions.
