Postoperative functional mitral regurgitation (FMR) grade 2-4 was associated with poor outcomes in patients undergoing ablation for atrial fibrillation with reduced LVEF. Dr. Masato Okada of Sakurabashi Watanabe Hospital and colleagues reported in the March 15 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
