DAPT duration after PCI in patients at high bleeding risk: a meta-analysis of randomized trials
A meta-analysis of randomized trials shows that short-term DAPT of 1 or 3 months reduced the risk of bleeding and cardiovascular death without increasing ischemic events compared with ≥6 months of DAPT in patients at high bleeding risk (HBR) undergoing PCI. According to a report by Dr. Francesco Costa of Messina, Italy, and colleagues in the March 14 issue of the European Heart Journal.
