DAPT de-escalation strategy in patients with ACS: A meta-analysis
A meta-analysis of patient-level data from four randomized trials of patients undergoing PCI in ACS found that a DAPT-based de-escalation strategy had a significantly lower risk of both ischemic and bleeding events when compared with standard two-agent antiplatelet therapy (DAPT). Dr. Jeehoon Kang, Seoul National University Hospital, and colleagues reported in the April 14 issue of the European Heart Journal.
