Causes of Early Death after Atrial Fibrillation Catheter Ablation
Data from the Mayo Clinic, USA, show that the 90-day mortality rate after ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) was 0.22%, with a 0.06% mortality rate from procedure-related complications. Dr. Min Choon Tan and colleagues from the Mayo Clinic, USA, reported in the May issue of Circulation: Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology.
