Interventional versus conservative treatment strategies in patients with idiopathic coronary artery dissection: the DISCO registry
From the DISCO registry, ST-elevation MI, proximal lesions, TIMI flow, stenosis level, and contrast-enhanced subtype influenced the choice of initial treatment strategy between PCI and pharmacotherapy for idiopathic coronary artery dissection, with no difference in 2-year clinical outcomes in patients who were selected for PCI and pharmacotherapy. Dr. Stefano Benenati, University of Genoa, Italy, and colleagues reported in the June issue of Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
