Medical claims data from the United States show that patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation who were not prescribed the appropriate FDA-recommended anticoagulant dosage had poor adherence. Dr. Jennifer A. Rymer of the Duke Clinical Research Institute, USA, and colleagues reported in the June 7 issue of JAMA Network Open.
