Esprit BTK Drug-Eluting Resorbable Scaffold vs. Angioplasty for Below-Knee Arterial Disease: The LIFE-BTK Trial
According to the LIFE-BTK trial, the Esprit BTK everolimus-eluting resorbable scaffold (DRS) had superior 1-year efficacy compared with balloon angioplasty in patients with comprehensive severe chronic lower limb ischemia (CLTI) with below-knee arterial disease. Dr. Ramon L. Varcoe, Prince of Wales Hospital, Australia, presented in the Late-Breaking Clinical Trials session of TCT 2023.
