Coronary angiography, IVUS and OCT-guided PCI: a network meta-analysis
A network meta-analysis of randomised trials showed that IVUS/OCT (intravascular imaging) guided PCI was associated with a reduction in ischaemia-driven TLRs compared with invasive coronary angiography (ICA)-guided PCI, with the difference being more pronounced with IVUS, according to a study performed by Dr. Daniele Giacoppo and colleagues of University of Catania, Italy, reported in the April 2 issue of Circulation.
