Differences in intravascular imaging-guided complex PCI outcomes by gender: a subgroup analysis of the RENOVATE-COMPLEX-PCI trial.
From the RENOVATE-COMPLEX-PCI trial, intravascular imaging-guided compared to angiographic-guided reduced the risk of TVF (cardiac death, MI related to the target vessel and clinically driven TVR) in women and men similarly in patients undergoing complex PCI, according to a study performed by Dr. Hyun Cha and colleagues of Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, South Korea, reported in the May issue of JAMA Cardiology.
