Mortality after treatment with paclitaxel-coated devices for lower limb lesions in hemodialysis patients
In haemodialysis patients undergoing EVT for lower limb disease, mortality after treatment with a paclitaxel-coated device was significantly lower than with a non-coated device, according to a study performed by Dr. Tanja Bohme and colleagues of Universitats-Herzzentrum Freiburg-Bad Krozingen, Germany, reported in the April issue of the Journal of Endovascular Therapy.
