Decoding medina 0,0,1 bifurcation: Are all codes equal? Results from a multicentric registry
The European multicenter registry demonstrated that patients who underwent PCI for Medina 0,0,1 bifurcation lesions had a high long-term risk of MACE (cardiovascular death, MI, and TVR) and TLR, with diabetes identified as an independent predictor of 3-year MACE, Dr. Matteo Maurina and colleagues, Humanitas University, Italy, reported in the February 15 issue of the International Journal of Cardiology.
