Revascularization in frail patients with acute coronary syndromes: a retrospective longitudinal study
Patients with moderate or high frailty risk in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) had lower rates of revascularization compared to those with low frailty risk. However, the absolute reduction in cardiovascular mortality with revascularization was greater in these patients, Dr. Marius Roman and colleagues, University of Leicester, UK, reported in the February 7 issue of European Heart Journal.
