Induction and Escalation of GDMT in Patients Hospitalized for Acute Heart Failure: the WET-HF registry
The West Tokyo Heart Failure (WET-HF) registry reported that patients hospitalized for acute heart failure had low rates of guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT), but that dose escalation according to GDMT improved long-term outcomes. This was reported by Dr. Takanori Ohata, from Keio University School of Medicine in the January issue of Circulation Journal.
