PCI of Native Coronary Artery versus Saphenous Vein Graft in Patients with Prior CABG: The PROCTOR Trial
The PROCTOR trial demonstrated that among patients with significant stenosis in saphenous vein grafts (SVGs) more than one year after CABG, PCI to native coronary arteries was associated with a significantly higher rate of cardiovascular events at 1 year compared with PCI to SVGs, according to a study presented by Dr. Ruben W. de Winter, Amsterdam University Medical Centers, the Netherlands, in the Late-Breaking Clinical Trials session at TCT 2025.
