Ticagrelor vs Prasugrel After PCI in Patients With Diabetes and Multivessel Coronary Artery Disease: The TUXEDO-2 Trial
The TUXEDO-2 trial demonstrated that among patients with diabetes and multivessel coronary artery disease undergoing PCI, DAPT with aspirin plus ticagrelor failed to demonstrate noninferiority to aspirin plus prasugrel for the 1-year composite of ischemic and bleeding events, according to a study presented by Dr. Sripal Bangalore, NYU Grossman School of Medicine, United States, in the Late-Breaking Science session at the AHA Scientific Sessions 2025.
