Long-term DAPT Beyond 12 Months After DES Implantation in Patients With Multivessel Coronary Artery Disease: The DAPT-MDV Trial
The DAPT-MDV trial demonstrated that among patients with multivessel coronary artery disease who remained free of ischemic and bleeding events during 12 months of DAPT after DES implantation, extending DAPT for an additional 12 months reduced the risk of MACCE (cardiovascular death, nonfatal MI, nonfatal stroke) without increasing bleeding risk, according to a study presented by Dr. Chao Fang, Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, China, in the Late-Breaking Science session at the AHA Scientific Sessions 2025.
