Trajectories of Angina After Initial Invasive vs Conservative Strategy for Chronic Coronary Disease: A Secondary Analysis of the ISCHEMIA Trial
A secondary analysis of the ISCHEMIA trial demonstrated that among patients with chronic coronary disease and baseline angina, those assigned to a conservative treatment strategy had unfavorable 2-year angina trajectories compared with those assigned to an invasive treatment strategy, Dr. Nobuhiro Ikemura and colleagues, Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute, USA, reported in the September 16 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
