FFR-guided PCI was associated with a lower risk of 1-year MACE, defined as a composite of all-cause death, MI, and repeat revascularization, compared with angiography-guided PCI among patients with chronic coronary syndromes or non–ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndromes, driven by a reduction in periprocedural myocardial infarction, Dr. Fabio Mangiacapra and colleagues, Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Italy, reported in the October 14 issue of the European Heart Journal.
