The J-PCI Registry demonstrated that slender PCI using ≤5-Fr sheaths was associated with shorter procedural time, fewer complications, and a more favorable safety profile compared with PCI using ≥6-Fr sheaths, Dr. Fuminobu Yoshimachi and colleagues, Tokai University Hachioji Hospital, Japan, reported in the November 1 issue of Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions.
